We are excited to share new information about the After-School Plus (A+) Program. First, we are pleased to share that we are expanding our services to Summer A+ programming by partnering with participating schools offering summer programs.

We now offer two A+ Programs:

  • Summer A+ Programs
  • School Year A+ Programs

The A+ website is designed to help families learn about A+ programs by providing the following information and functionality:

  • A+ Program Eligibility Guidelines
  • A+ Program Descriptions
  • A+ Program Registration (online and printable forms). Participating schools will also provide Parent Handbook hardcopies to families.
  • A+ Programs and Locations (searchable by A+ Program, island, and zip code)
  • Financial Assistance (online and printable application)
  • Announcements and Resources
  • Employment Opportunities
  • Contact Us form for questions and support

Please take note of these important changes to A+ Program Policies and Procedures shared in your A+ Parent Handbook

  • The A+ Late Pick Up Fee procedures has been updated. If your child is picked up late, parents will pay $15 for the first 5 minutes and $1.00 per minute late fee per child for every minute thereafter beyond the closing time.”
  • School Year A+ Monthly Fee Update: The School Year A+ Program provides 10 months of after care services to participating students and families. The A+ Monthly Fee has increased monthly tuition from 9 months to 10 months to account for after care provided during early release days and school conference days. Payment for the months of December and January will NOT be combined as in past years. Parents will need to pay $160 for December and $160 for January. Mahalo for your understanding.

In addition, our Financial Assistance page provides helpful information to families regarding tuition assistance for both A+ Programs. For School Year 2024-2025, the current A+ tuition is $200. However, families who pay full tuition receive a tuition subsidy of $40/month. The adjusted tuition is $160/month per student. Please visit the Financial Assistance page for more information.
